How to Stop Hair Loss in Men

Your hair grows at a rate of about one centimeter less than a half inch every month. At any particular time, about ninety percent of your hair is growing while the other ten percent is resting. Hair transplant involves taking strips of your scalp where hair is growing and transferring or transplanting them into the bald areas. Scalp reduction is done by getting rid of some of the areas of bald skin and closing the gap with sutures. Scalp extenders or stretchers are devices that are placed under the skin to stretch the areas where hair is growing. Some of these processes are done in combination to stop hair loss. They are commonly performed under local anesthesia in a skin doctor's office or an outpatient surgical center.

You can make use of an olive oil treatment on the scalp. Olive oil is elucidative and cleans the scalp to promote hair growth. Olive oil also humidifies, which gives your hair a healthy place to grow. Massage or rub down olive oil into the scalp and cover with a shower cap. Leave it on for at least two hours or apply before bed and wash out in the morning.

Puncture a capsule of linseed oil and rub down into the scalp for five minutes. Leave it on the scalp for an additional ten minutes and shampoo as usual. Linseed oil increases circulation in the scalp. This enhances hair growth and supports your scalp overall health.
